SiteInspect

Cookie policy

How we use cookies on the SiteInspect website and what choices you have.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember your choices, or understand how the site is used.

Cookies we use

On the SiteInspect landing site we use:

  • Essential — Required for the site to function (e.g. load balancing, security). These do not store personal data and cannot be disabled if you use the site.
  • Preferences — Used only if you choose “Accept cookies”. We store your cookie consent choice (e.g. cookie_consent) so we do not show the consent banner again. We do not use cookies for advertising or sell your data.

Your choice

When you first visit, we show a banner so you can choose Accept cookies (we remember your preference) or Essential only (we use only essential cookies). Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage and a cookie) for one year. You can change your mind by clearing site data or visiting again in a private window and choosing again.

Third parties

We use Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for typography. Google may set cookies according to their privacy policy. The scan form and API are served by our own backend; we do not embed third-party trackers or ads on the landing page.

Updates

We may update this cookie policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
